Dame Helen Mirren proved that style has no age limit as she gracefully strutted down the runway at age 78 during Paris Fashion Week. The Oscar-winning actress was a vision in a glittering silver gown as part of L’Oreal’s fashion show.
With her signature short hair swept back, Mirren commanded attention on the catwalk alongside younger models and fellow L’Oreal ambassadors including Andie MacDowell, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Elle Fanning and Aishwarya Rai.

While she drew some criticism for portraying the late Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir in the new biopic Golda despite not being Jewish herself, Mirren stands by the role. She informed director Guy Nattiv she wasn’t Jewish but was told it wasn’t an issue. As Mirren told Radio Times, “I said, ‘If that’s an issue, I’ll step away, no problem.’ But he said, ‘No, it’s not an issue. I want you to play Golda.’ And off we went.”
At 78, Helen Mirren continues to take on groundbreaking acting roles while also showing off her timeless beauty and style. Age is no obstacle for this screen legend.
