Australian skincare brand Ultraceuticals is making waves in the US professional skincare market through a new partnership with luxury fitness company Equinox.
Founded by skincare pioneer Dr. Geoffrey Heber in 1998, Ultraceuticals offers scientifically-backed skincare powered by patented delivery systems. The comprehensive product line addresses a range of skincare concerns using ingredients made in the brand’s in-house lab.
To boost penetration, Ultraceuticals treatments utilize patented UltraSonophoresis technology. This low-frequency ultrasound has been clinically shown to drive ingredients deeper into the skin.
After quietly entering the US in 2020, Ultraceuticals pressed pause due to the pandemic. This time was spent preparing for a full US launch, including FDA compliance, new hires and onboarding distribution.
In February 2022, Ultraceuticals hosted its official US debut at the Fairmont Spa in Los Angeles. Beyond the US and Australia, the brand is active in 6 other countries.
According to Ultraceuticals CEO Andrew Dingle, clinic partners are critical for customer acquisition and driving brand awareness. After training staff on protocols and products, Ultraceuticals recently launched in 60 Equinox spas.
Equinox skincare director Ashley Hudson said Ultraceuticals’ science-backed approach makes it the perfect choice. The product line will anchor facials and enhance Hydrafacial treatments at Equinox locations.
With Equinox and new products in the works, Ultraceuticals is poised for continued US expansion. The partnership coincides with the brand’s 25th anniversary in 2022.
