Chanel has unveiled an innovative new lipstick called 31 Le Rouge. Housed in a faceted square glass case, it is the first Chanel lipstick presented in glass rather than plastic or metal.
Inspired by the iconic mirrors lining the staircase at Coco Chanel’s 31 Rue Cambon apartment, the gleaming case is a true technical achievement. Creating a durable yet slim glass tube took four years of development with a Japanese glassmaker.
Inside the refillable case is an aluminum bullet containing the lipstick. The metal’s reflection off the glass sides creates a unique visual effect. A ring on the tube adds a touch of gold.
31 Le Rouge features 12 shades from soft beige to deep garnet. The longwearing, hydrating formula contains 75% naturally derived ingredients like Gardenia and Maracuja oils.
This luxurious and eco-friendly lipstick represents Chanel’s commitment to innovation and sustainability. With refillable cases and luxe glass packaging, 31 Le Rouge is the future of lipstick.
