New York fashion label Telfar, founded by designer Telfar Clemens, has collaborated with Brazilian footwear brand Melissa on a jelly-like transparent capsule for summer 2023.
Dubbed the ‘Telly Jelly’ collection, the lineup combines Melissa’s signature sustainable Melflex PVC material with three sizes of Telfar’s iconic tote bags, plus coordinating unisex slides.
The capsule’s futuristic fluid shapes and tube construction encapsulate both brands’ innovative aesthetics. Shoppers and slides come in crystal clear styles, with the concert and festival-friendly bags touted as 100% compliant.
Melissa utilizes its exclusive recyclable Melflex PVC, while Telfar is known for accessible luxury and genre-defying silhouettes. This collaboration merges both brands’ DNA into a cohesive summertime statement.
The limited-edition ‘Telly Jelly’ collection launches July 14 on Telfar’s website and July 17 on Melissa’s channels. The coordinated transparent capsule provides a playful warm weather option for fans of both labels.
