A captivating exhibition featuring the works of legendary German fashion photographer Helmut Newton has opened its doors in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. Hosted by the Marta Ortega Pérez Foundation (MOP), the show, titled “Helmut Newton—Fact & Fiction,” will run until May 1, 2024. The MOP, founded by Inditex fashion group chair Marta Ortega Pérez, collaborates closely with the Helmut Newton Foundation, with curators Philippe Garner, Matthias Harder, and Tim Jefferies organizing the event.
Taking place at the industrial Muelle de Batería, the exhibition embraces repurposed silos and warehouses, creating a unique backdrop that aligns with Newton’s visionary style. The curators express their delight in imagining the images Newton might have created in this setting.
