Following London Fashion Week, Italy takes the spotlight as the epicenter of men’s fashion starting from June 11. The fashion extravaganza kicks off in Florence with the renowned Pitti Uomo show from June 11 to 14, followed by Milan Fashion Week from June 14 to 18. Milan’s event promises an exciting array of designers and labels from around the globe.
Pitti Uomo, known as the world’s premier menswear show, will host nearly 800 exhibitors, with 43% of them representing international brands. One of the highlights is the ‘China Wave’ initiative, showcasing contemporary Chinese men’s fashion and featuring seven selected labels.
International emerging designers will also shine at Pitti Uomo, with the ‘S Style’ section presenting sustainable labels from various countries. Notable collaborations include the J Quality Factory Brand Project celebrating Japanese craftsmanship and the Scandinavian Manifesto organized with the Copenhagen International Fashion Fair.
French creativity takes center stage at Pitti Uomo’s summer 2024 session, with Marine Serre and illustrator Pierre-Louis Mascia as guests of honor. British designers such as Paul Smith and Martine Rose add to the international flair, with Martine Rose debuting at Milan Fashion Week.
While the Milan Fashion Week Men’s schedule may seem lighter this season, it still features top Italian names like Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Gucci. Additionally, British labels like JW Anderson and JordanLuca will showcase their collections, alongside newcomers like Dunhill.
The event promises a mix of physical and digital shows, with presentations and special events rounding out the diverse lineup. With renowned designers and emerging talent from across the globe, Pitti Uomo and Milan Fashion Week Men offer a vibrant celebration of international menswear.
