Local Beauty Treatment Scandal Unveils Shocking Medical Malpractice
In a disturbing revelation that has shaken the Massachusetts beauty industry, federal authorities have apprehended 38-year-old Rebecca Fadanelli for allegedly distributing counterfeit Botox and dermal fillers sourced illegally from Brazil and China. The arrest occurred Friday at her Skin Beaute Med Spas locations in Randolph and South Easton, where she allegedly amassed over $1 million through fraudulent cosmetic procedures.
Former client Keri Jimenez has bravely stepped forward to share her harrowing experience. “I placed my complete trust in her expertise,” Jimenez recounted, expressing her shock at discovering Fadanelli’s alleged deception about her nursing credentials. Since 2021, Jimenez invested approximately $8,000 in various treatments, only to face persistent complications and unsatisfactory results.
The alleged counterfeit treatments led to serious health complications for multiple clients. Jimenez reported experiencing severe migraines, ineffective Botox treatments, and concerning reactions to supposed Ozempic injections. “The treatments never seemed to work properly, but the competitive pricing kept drawing clients back,” she explained.
Most alarmingly, despite the federal investigation and serious allegations, Fadanelli’s spa facilities remain operational and continue to accept new clients. This case highlights the critical importance of verifying medical credentials and understanding the risks associated with discounted cosmetic procedures.
