New York designer LaQuan Smith showcased electric glamour at his SS24 fashion show, with beauty looks that perfectly complemented the collection’s sexy silhouettes.
Hair stylist Lacy Redway created graphic, blunt haircuts with bold center parts on models with sleek extensions. She prepped hair with TRESemmé Blowout Balm for smooth styling. Other models wore trendy braided hairstyles like cornrows and box braids, with flyaways tamed using Flawless Curls Mousse.
Makeup artist Sheika Daley focused on sultry, glowing makeup to match LaQuan Smith’s signature sexy aesthetic. The standout was a piercing cat eye, dubbed a “date night cat eye,” using Lancôme’s Idôle Liner. Bronzy, overdrawn lips and smooth, radiant skin finished the look.
Daley used new complexion products she collaborated on with Lancôme, including the Care & Glow Foundation and Serum Concealer, to perfect the models’ makeup. False lashes emphasized the bold cat eyes.
Both artists cite the supportive environment fostered by LaQuan Smith, who encourages creativity and lets his team shine. The result was dazzling hair, makeup and clothes that captured the essence of Smith’s brand – glamorous and alluring.
