Beauty retailer Sephora has revealed plans for a hybrid in-person and virtual Sephoria beauty event in 2023. The annual Sephoria: House of Beauty experience will take place September 29-30.
A live ticketed event at Skylight at Essex Crossing in New York City will offer immersive brand activations. Virtual attendees can explore a 3D gaming-style platform with avatars, live chats, games, and an exclusive NFT.
Over 50 prestige brands like Rare Beauty, Pat McGrath Labs, and YSL Beauté will participate. The hybrid format expands Sephoria’s reach beyond NYC to Sephora’s global community.

Sephoria aims to highlight Sephora’s unique, socially driven approach to beauty. The 2023 event comes during Sephora’s 25th US anniversary year.
After in-person-only editions in 2018-2019, Sephoria went virtual in 2021-2022. The new hybrid experience enables broader participation and celebration of Sephora’s diverse community.
NYC tickets cost $99-$349, with virtual components free. Sephora continues driving innovation in experiential beauty marketing with its digitally enhanced Sephoria.
